Every page on uCord loads Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. It tells us how the site is used in aggregate: which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, roughly where they are (country or city level), what kind of device and browser they use, and how long they stay. It does not receive your Discord account details, and we do not use it to identify you.
Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart, and the data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
Alongside Google Analytics, uCord keeps its own record of how the site is used, on our own servers. It is how we count visitors, see which pages and listings people read, and tell server owners how many people clicked through to join their server. When you load a page we record:
utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, referral)When you click through to join a server we also record which listing, where on the site the click came from, and the same referrer, country, device and visitor ID. We record when an ad or featured listing is shown or clicked as daily totals, not per visitor. Automated traffic such as search-engine crawlers is not recorded as visits and never receives these cookies.
Each day the previous day's records are summarised into totals (for example: page views per page, visitors per country, clicks per server). The totals contain no visitor IDs, IP addresses, IP hashes or account details and are kept indefinitely. The individual records, including IP addresses, are deleted after 183 days. Server owners only ever see totals for their own listing, never individual visitors.

Session data is automatically deleted after 24 hours of inactivity.
Analytics records (page visits, join clicks, and the steps owners take when listing a server), including the IP addresses stored with them for abuse prevention and bans, are deleted after 183 days, after first being summarised into anonymous daily totals as described in 5.2.
Our service is intended for users who meet Discord's minimum age requirements. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
By using uCord, you also agree to comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Your use of our service must comply with all applicable Discord policies.
